Broadmeadow takes title in women’s football

Broadmeadow met Cardiff in the grand final of the inaugural season of the Herald Women’s Premier League. Both sides were scoreless in normal time but Broadmeadow finished more strongly scoring two goals in extra time to take the title. Valentine club has taken out the under 12/1 title and drawn the under 11/1 grand final to become joint premiers with South. However, Valentine missed out in the 10/1 division going down to Macquarie 18 – 10.
